Tylaska’s Halyard Shackles are machined from aluminum plate stock and hard-coat anodized to military specifications for superior strength and durability. A captive 17-4PH stainless steel pin makes for trouble free operation.

The machined thimble surface is suitable for permanently spliced fixed halyards. Using a high strength composite sleeve bearing, Tylaska has created true 2:1 halyard shackles capable of handling the full rated load of the shackle. These are all designed to fit standard sail headboards without adding any unnecessary weight. Design is optimized by finite element analysis and then validated with destructive testing.
